Holla for La Jolla!

While Michael and Russ were golfing, we decided to head to La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya). I remembered La Jolla from my days as a flight attendant. It is this amazing beach town with great coastal views, loads of parks, plenty of boutiques and delectable delis!

It had been a while since I had been there, but thanks to Brad's iPhone, Becky found the Childrens' Pool Beach! It was a perfect spot to spend the morning! The kids enjoyed the sand and surf and we even spotted some sea gulls and harbor seals! The scenery was spectacular...and the special treats Uncle Brad bought for everyone were exceptionally tasty!! (On the way back from parking the cars, he stopped by a deli and bought everyone their own decorative cookie!!! Yummmmo!)

After hitting the Lu Lu Lemon store and circling to find a place to park and eat, we decided to head back to the hotel. Molly had spiked a fever, and the other kids were ready for the pool! The girls took a nap and Debbie and I went to the grocery store! After nap time, it was back to fun time! The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the hotel!

Our second full day of vacation was in the books! We had perfect weather and at the end of the day everyone was still smiling! Can't complain!
