She's a walkin'- Yes indeed!

After a month or two of cruising and a few weeks of walking with assistance...Little Miss Lexie took off on her own today.  While she has taken a few steps before, today was the first day where she was walking without any help for more than just one or two steps!!  We were able to get the third attempt on video!  While she is still crawling primarily, it is amazing to see her walk on her own!  Our little one is growing up way too fast!

A Month of Fun

July has been a busy month for the Adams Trio!!!
Russ and I made a trip to Santa Monica to attend Genevieve and Brian's wedding over the 4th while Lexie stayed with her Nini!  It was wonderful to get away for some adult time though we missed Lexie very much!  She hardly knew we were gone.  Everyone had a wonderful time!

Shortly after we returned, the Yankees were back in town for a make-up game that had previously been rained out, and we were lucky enough to get away to watch.  Lexie almost made it through the whole game!  I think she is a fan!

Russ was able to break away from his hectic work schedule for a trip to NJ/NY to visit with some friends and partake in the MLB All Star weekend while Lexie and I headed to KY to break in the new family vehicle.
We had a wonderful visit!  Great Granny and Grandpa were thrilled...and even bought Lexie her first swimming pool!   She splished and splashed everyday we were there!  During our visit, we were able to meet up with Miss Emily for lunch!  Lexie was soooo excited to meet her mommy's dear friend and can't wait for another visit!!!  We hated to leave, but were missing daddy so we packed up and headed home after our week long journey.

Master's Got Me Working

We have finally been able to get some work done to the outside of our new home.  Thanks to GG and Gpa, who came in for a weekend to help landscape...and a quick trip from Pawpa to help extend the deck, the place is starting to take shape!  The weather cooperated while our little helpers were visiting so a great deal of hard work has paid off!

OHHH AAHHHH.  And Yes, we finally have grass growing, and growing, and growing...and for those of you with impeccable eye sight, we have weeds too~ : )

We have recently started our newest DIY project.  Yes, Russ and I...with the help of Lexie of course...have stared finishing the basement.  Our goal is to have it completed for all of our Thanksgiving guests so we have been working on it in all of our spare time.  Russ and Pawpa Brad roughed in all the electrical and we have even started hanging insulation and drywall. I will keep you posted with our progress!!!
