Hit the Water!

A Summertime trip to Kentucky wouldn't be complete without spending some time on the water! Since my dad's backyard is the good ol' Ohio River it is an easy to jump on the jet skis, or hop in the boat and go....unless--the river is trashed--and unfortunately for us, it was! Not to fear, there was plan B...head to the LAKE! Even better! No garbage, no barges...just clean water and clean fun!

Granny stayed home with Olivia and the rest of us loaded up, lathered on the sunscreen and hit the water! What a great day--and PERFECT weather! Lexie was so excited about her first big boat ride on Grandpa's boat!!!

Thanks to Aunt Allie for being such a sport...I think Lexie would have stayed in the water A L L day if we would have let her!
