Tall Tale?

A few days after Lexie's second birthday...and a few days before Olivia hit the 4 month mark, we took the girls to the doctor for their well visits/check ups. I am THRILLED to report that both girls received a clean bill of heath and there were minimal tears shed (most of them were mine...I hate to see them get shots!)

SO...just how tall are our "little" goof-balls going to be???? Your guess is as good as mine, but if we follow the 'tale' of doubling your child's height when they turn 2 years old...this 'little' one will be heads and shoulders above most...and her sister isn't too far behind!


Lexie checked in at a WHOPPING 36 1/2 inches tall--which puts her in the 97th percentile for height, which means she is taller than 97% of kids her age! Also...if you do the math and play along by doubling her height...she is "projected" to be OVER 6ft tall!!! There is actually a height predictor I found as well that factors in a few more variables such as the parents' height etc...check it out for fun to see where your 'little' ones may end up!



While Olivia isn't throwing up quite the stats her big sister did...she isn't too far behind! At 4 months old, she is already 25 1/2 inches long-- a mere 1/4 of an inch shy of Lexie's 4 month "height" and also weighs a little over 1.5lb LESS--coming in around the 90th percentile for height and 75th-80th for weight! I LOVE HEALTHY BIG BABIES!!!
