ONE big PARTY

It really doesn't seem possible that an ENTIRE YEAR---365 days(well almost) have passed since we welcomed Olivia into the world! What an INCREDIBLE year it has been! She is such a joy--much like her big sister--and can't imagine what our lives would be like without her! Happy Birthday Love Bug!!!

We went with a lady bug theme for Miss O's big birthday bash! Special thanks to my neighbors for the wonderful party supplies!!!

Lady bug buckets filled with goodies for the little ones...thanks Aunt Allie for helping us out!

Miss O's Birthday cake!

The birthday girl posing with Aunt Becky!

Some of the party goers enjoying the swingset

Gpa--looking quite dapper!

Lexie was having fun celebrating her sister's first birthday!

The guest of honor with her daddy opening ALL of her presents! We couldn't believe she sat there the ENTIRE TIME opening her gifts!

Modeling her onesie with the help from Daddy!

Moving on to the next gift...what could it be?

Sooooo soft....

Testing out her new rocker from Nini!

Getting a kiss from her big sister...so sweet!

The birthday girl/s (Nini's birthday is the 5th...and I can't leave out Russ...though you can only see bits of his hand and cupcake to the far left of the picture...he celebrated 35 years on the 4th).

Enjoying her cake!

Needless to say, we had a wonderful day filled with family and friends to help Olivia celebrate her first birthday! Thank you all so very much for stopping by, calling, skyping...we are very fortunate to have you all in our lives!

Columbus Cookie Party Weekend

One of my dear friends from C-bus (AMY D) has hosted a cookie party the last couple of years and I was bound and determined to make it this year! I loaded up the girls and headed to Columbus! Eric, Tanya and Oatis were gracious enough to watch Lexie for me for a few hours the day of the event--I could have only imagined Lexie around all of those cookies! We stayed with Nissy and the boys and made a fun weekend out of it! Miss you all!!!

Barely in the door and they are already at it! Lexie was in HOG heaven! Nissy and I got the biggest kick out of her--she kept saying "I coming boys" anytime they would leave the room!
The boys showing Lexie their choo choo train!
A shot of Nissy's beautiful Christmas Tree!
Olivia meeting Amy D for the first time!
It didn't take long for Amy to teach Olivia the ropes! Nice beer Miss O!
Just look at alllll of those cookies!!!

The morning after the cookie exchange we had brunch at Nissy's. Amy D came over to spend some time with the girls! Good times!
Nissy giving Lexie one last kiss good-bye! Such a short trip!!! Thanks for having us!
