Breakfast with Santa...and Friends!

Lexie was super excited to go to church this Sunday. We told her shortly after church was over, we were going to be going to eat breakfast with Santa. As if it couldn't get any better than that, we invited our neighbors the Nicastros and the Egans to join us. When we pulled up to the Club, Lexie could hardly contain herself. Then, when we walked inside and saw Santa...she was awe struck and could barely move!

Moments after entering the front door, Lexie saw the BIG RED SUIT...she whispered to me.."look mommy, it's Santa"...and her eyes never moved from his sight.
She was a bit hesitant at first, trying to take it all in, but then she went over to tell him what she wanted for Christmas..."snow and some big red jingle bells".

We tried for a picture with Santa, but this was a good as it got. At least Olivia didn't completely lose her mind like we thought she would!

After the kids got to talk to, and take pictures with Santa, it was time for us to move into the dinning room to find out seats. I think we got the best seats in the house! Our table was steps from the dance floor and buffet line! The music was blaring and the kids were THRILLED!!!

Breakfast with Nini....and Santa!!

After Lexie's first interaction with Santa, we thought we should try again...and since Janoski's was featuring a free breakfast with Santa, we couldn't pass up the opportunity!!! It was even more exciting because NINI was able to join us! (We hadn't seen her since Lexie's early birthday party in September so it made it that much more special!!!) The food was great and the company was even better! Lexie even made it through the visit without shedding a single tear! (It must have been all the support from Nini!!!) Thanks for such a great visit mom!

Back home after a fun filled day with Nini and Santa...she was so excited to see Oscar that I didn't even get to take her hat off!!!!

First Visit to Santa

Janoski's Farm and Greenhouse had their annual Christmas open house today with a special visitor from the North Pole! We were lucky enough to sneak up there while Russ was on a break from the military base and avoided most of the crowds!!! We were SO anxious to see what Lexie's reaction was going to be like since this was her FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT WITH SANTA!!! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

As soon as we arrived in the greenhouse, Santa scooped Lexie right up!


At first glance she seemed okay, like she was enjoying her time with Santa!


But then she looked a little confused and unsure about this big guy in the red suit....wait for it


...and reallllllly wanted down!


Daddy came over to settle her down and tried to get her to smile for the camera.


Santa had something special for Lexie and wanted her to sit on his lap so she could tell him what she wanted for Christmas!!!


She sat on his lap and LOVED the candy cane! I'm not sure exactly what she asked for though!!!
